The quickest business/pleasure trip. Ever.

Last week was a pretty crazy week. My brain is now a little frazzled. But my 7 day jaunt to South Africa was just lovely! It was a mix of work and fun. Just the way any little trip should be I think! So to sum it up in pictures:

We spent a lot of time:

Eating.

Taking photos.

Eating some more.

mmmmmmm MILK TART! Best tart in the whole wide world :)

Working.

Drinking coffee.

And being silly.

It was so lovely being back. It really was. I am excited for all the bits and bobs that me and Nix will be continuing to work on together in the future. And for Lady Lauren Loves to totally be an international business lady.

MONDAY MUSINGS

This week I will mainly thinking about:

  • Going to South Africa, it's only a short little trip but it is really exciting! (It's a mix of business and pleasure, like you do).
  • Finishing off a few little projects that I have on.
  • Cracking on with driving. I am literally LOVING it! And there is a possibility I will be taking my test in 2 months which is amazing!
  • Shopping. When I am in South Africa I really want to get some nice outfits. I am really terrible at shopping as I don't often think about the entire outfit and just get little bits that I end up not wearing much because they don't match anything.
  • Taking loads of photos on holiday! I am taking my Mini Diana to make sure I get loads of practice  And with it being sunny I think it will be perfect setting!

Some pretty things for your eyes:

Some awesome Mini Diana's.

Dinner at Franco Manca

Sourdough pizza! YUMMMM!

Went for dinner last week at the very lovely Franco Manca and it was pretty awesome! The pizza was really tasty and the restaurant is really cute! You can't book so best to get there early, we were lucky as there was a big group of us so go a table pretty quickly.

I had a the meat special (which isn't on the menu) but was really good. We also had some organic Red Wine which was better than I expected! All round, really good. Super tasty. Awesome.

I'll definitely be going back again soon!

Sorry there's no photos of the food, I got way too excited and ate it as SOON as it came to the table. WHOOPS!

I am off to South Africa on Wednesday so will have a few foreign eateries on the blog :D WOOO. I'm super excited!

Magnificent Moo

Oooooohhhh!

The other day I received my first little run of moo business cards, and all I can say is... FAB!

The quality is really great. The packaging is so cute. The service is awesome.

I got a small run of 20 Luxe Cards. And will definitely be ordering more! Sorry about the iPhone photos, I don't have a snazzy SLR right now, maybe one day soon though.

Also, how AMAZING is the seal for the box...

I love, love, love good packaging. And that's what moo delivers. I literally can't recommend these guys enough!

Dinner at Les Trois Garcons

I absolutely LOVED Les Trois Garcons.

It's not the type of price range that you would casually pop there for an impromptu dinner, but it is amazing for that special occasion. My friend Jules and I got the Tasting Menu deal from Groupon, and I am really glad we did!

(The high quality photos are from Les Trois Garcons' site and are not mine. My iPhone pics were a little too dark to do it the justice it deserved)

The decor is ridiculously quirky (which is a plus in my book). From pugs in tiara's, handbags hanging from the ceiling to sideways giraffe heads popping off the walls.

We started our evening with a Cosmopolitan; every girl needs a cocktail before dinner right? It was divine. For our meal we had the 6-course taster menu. Perfect to get a true feel of the food served and a little bit of heaven on each plate. Each dish was delicious. Really really delicious! If you want to have a little nosey at the menu, take a look here.

I had a lovely evening, the staff were really friendly and atmosphere and food just fab. I highly recommend! I have definitely added dinner here to the 'Possible things to do for my 30th'.

YUM!

Apologies for my low res iPhone pictures, I was too nervous to take a million photos with my flash on.
