Hello again.
Another week has gone by, and it's been a good one. I have tried to make sure I am a little more focused which means trying to write everything down and makes plans. And it certainly does help!
I got my patterns through in the post so I have to look into fabric choice for the dressed and have started on my knitted bolero. I'm a little 'lazy' when it comes to doing tests or toiles but as I am not a great knitter I thought best to work a tension gauge for the pattern. And it's already paid off, as my tension wasn't right so need to use smaller needles. So a big PHHHEEEWWWW that I did that.
Sam and I had a day out on Saturday. After going to the Science & Industry Museum last weekend, it's made us realise that there is so much that we could be doing instead of lazing around the house. So we headed to the V&A for the morning. I bought the Canon 100D in the end, and my gawd I LOVE it. Sam has said that I should only use the camera on manual settings to learn, so I accepted the challenge. It did mean taking about a million pictures of the same thing, but practice makes perfect, right? Here are some of the shots I took in the day (plus a few of Junko)

So this next week I am hoping to start another project which will be the first product that I want to start selling. I have quite a bit of work to do, all the design and tests need to be done but I am really looking forward to creating a whole project from scratch. I want to keep it all secret for now, I know that's annoying, but the project will need some graphic design and crafty skills so please do watch this space. I also want to take more photos, and make a little camera case/bag. So plenty to keep me busy.
